AMOUNT AND DURATION OF THEORETICAL TRAINING
Theoretical knowledge course comprises 257 hours of instruction. CPL(A) theoretical knowledge course with time distribution per subjects:

NOTE: An applicant for the issue of a CPL(A) having passed the theoretical knowledge examination for an ATPL(A) is credited with the theoretical knowledge instruction and examination requirements for the CPL(A).
AMOUNT AND DURATION OF FLIGHT TRAINING
Applicants without an IR are given at least 25 hours dual flight instruction, including 10 hours of instrument instruction of which up to 5 hours may be instrument ground time in a FNTP II.
Applicants holding a valid IR(A) are fully credited towards the dual instrument instruction time. An applicant holding a Course Completion Certificate for the Basic Instrument Flight Module is credited with up to 10 hours towards the required instrument instruction time.
Applicants with a valid IR are given 15 hours dual visual flight instruction.
Applicants without a night rating aeroplane are given additionally at least 5 hours night flight instruction, comprising 3 hours of dual instruction, which includes at least 1 hour of cross-country navigation and 5 solo take-offs and 5 solo full stop landings.
5 hours of the flight instruction are carried out in a multi-engine aeroplane certificated for the carriage of at least 4 persons and have a variable pitch propeller and retractable landing gear.
Pilot practical training is made up of modules. Modules are divided to lessons. The volume of flight lessons in the program is approximate. An instructor can make the number and length of the flights bigger, until the student will fully master the flights by exercises. Considering the circumstances, the pilot-instructor can change the order of the lessons. If the student pilot masters the flight by exercise faster, the instructor can reduce the time in that particular lesson. However overall time of the module cannot be reduced.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Before commencing a CPL(A) modular course an applicant shall be the holder of a PPL(A). Before commencing the flight training the applicant shall:
- Be at least 18 years old;
- Have completed 150 hours flight time, including 50 hours as PIC on aeroplanes of which 10 hours shall be cross-country;
- Have a valid class 1 medical certificate;
- Have a valid SEP (land) class rating;

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- The applicant for a CPL(A) shall have completed at least 200 hours flight time, including at least:
- 100 hours as PIC, of which 20 hours of cross-country flight as PIC, which shall include a VFR cross-country flight of at least 540 km (300 NM), in the course of which full stop landings at two aerodromes different from the aerodrome of departure shall be made;
- 5 hours of flight time shall be completed at night, comprising 3 hours of dual instruction, which shall include at least 1 hour of cross-country navigation and 5 solo take-offs and 5 solo full stop landings; and
- 10 hours of instrument flight instruction, of which up to 5 hours may be instrument ground time in an FFS or FNTP II. An applicant holding a course completion certificate for the Basic Instrument Flight Module is credited with up to 10 hours towards the required instrument instruction time;
- 6 hours of flight time shall be completed in a multi-engine aeroplane, if a multi-engine aeroplane is used for the skill test;
- Hours as PIC of other categories of aircraft may count towards the 200 hours flight time, in the following cases:
- 30 hours in helicopter, if the applicant holds a PPL(H); or
- 100 hours in helicopters, if the applicant holds a CPL(H); or
- 30 hours in TMGs or sailplanes; or
- 30 hours in airships, if the applicant holds a PPL(As); or
- 60 hours in airships, if the applicant holds a CPL(As).
- The applicant for a CPL(A) shall have completed an advanced UPRT course at an ATO.
- The applicant for a CPL(A) shall have at least operational Level (Level 4) of English language proficiency level for R/T communication.
